The Mansion of Dr. Hernandez Pina REMEDIOS is a neocolonial house very close to the Plaza Mayor with a spectacular facade and elegant lounges. Full of historical memories, it is fully preserved without modern modifications. It was the house in which the illustrious Dr. Hernández Pina lived and served his clientele in the mid-20th century. The furniture and the room where he was his office are still fully preserved.
A nice, quiet and relaxing patio will delight the visitor. With clear colonial reminiscences, the apparently discreet patio leads to a huge terrace, equally quiet and very sunny, in which an old mango tree is imposing for its height and large crown (providing excellent shade in summer.
The Mansion of Dr. Hernandez Pina REMEDIOS located a few meters from the Plaza Mayor (current Parque Martí) has two spacious and pleasant rooms. The first, of spectacular size. The second, smaller, is flirtatious and intimate and is accessed through the patio which makes it fresh and very bright since its windows and entrances have light and exterior views.
In this house the treatment is familiar, pleasant and very cordial. It should be noted that the clearly homemade and Creole cuisine is excellent (being able to say that some of the best cooked fish in Cuba can be enjoyed in this hostel)
